Here is the procedure for pending enrollees prior to August 2021. This is prior to the online form being release on August 14, 2021. This whole procedure has now moved online and the person fills out the form while they registered. Here is what the steps were.
Here is what happens when a person requests to enrolls.
- A ticket is created for all "pending" registration.
- The Attendee receives a confirmation that his enrollment was received.
- The attendee receives a second email a few minutes later asking for additional information to approve the pending request.
- The status in the admin enrollee list is set to pending.
At that point, you can do one of two things.
- Approve them based on name recognition or some other factor.
- Wait for them to reply to the email requesting more information.
When the attendee replies to the request for more information, that email will come to you..
The approval process is done off the attendee page. You click on the person's name and it gives you the options to:
APPROVE: Accept them as a regular enrollee.
EXPIRE: The enrollee has not replied to your requests for additional information and enough time has passed that you're just going to give up.
REMOVE: They are someone you do not want to approve or it is a duplicate.
We get a fair number of "Removes" because a person will accidentally use their Gmail account and then get the message they are pending. They then immediately come back and use their organization email which is auto approved. So the first email is removed.
